4. What if your eSIM Live is stuck activating on your iOS device?
don’t worry, there are steps you can take to resolve this issue:
Understanding the Activation Process:
Sometimes, an eSIM Live can appear stuck on “activating” if you’ve installed it but haven’t yet reached your destination country/region.
Rest assured that the eSIM Live is fully installed, even if it shows “activating” or “activation failure.”
Network Coverage Needed:
The activation process typically completes once you arrive at your destination and your device connects to the local network coverage.
Using Non-Network Dependent Features:
While the eSIM Live shows “activating,” you should still be able to use other device features that don’t require network connectivity.

5. If you’re encountering the ‘Unable to Complete Cellular Plan Change’ error message with your eSIM Live.
it typically indicates an installation issue due to several possible reasons:
Exceeded eSIM Limit:
eSIM Live devices can support multiple eSIMs, but the number you can have active simultaneously may vary by device model. For instance, iPhones can typically store between 5 to 10 eSIMs depending on storage capacity.
If you’ve reached the maximum eSIM storage on your device, you’ll need to remove old eSIMs. You can find instructions on how to remove eSIMs here: How to Remove an eSIM from Your Device.
Cellular/Mobile Data Disabled:
Ensure that cellular or mobile data is enabled in your device’s settings.
Duplicate eSIM Installation:
Attempting to install an eSIM that’s already installed can lead to this error. Most eSIMs can only be installed once.
Verify if the eSIM is already installed on your device by going to Settings > General > About and checking for the ICCID (a 20-digit number starting with 89XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX and ending with a random extra number).
Installation in Poor Connectivity Conditions:
Issues may arise if you try to install the eSIM using a weak or unreliable internet connection, such as the ship’s Wi-Fi or public Wi-Fi.
If the problem persists, please contact our support team for assistance.
Addressing these factors should help resolve the ‘Unable to Complete Cellular Plan Change’ error with your eSIM Live. How to Determine if Your iOS Device Supports eSIM
The ability of your device to use eSIM technology depends on whether it includes eSIM functionality. We provide a list of devices that are known to be eSIM-compatible for your convenience.
Some models released in certain regions may not support eSIM, or the carrier from which you purchased the device may not offer eSIM support.
To check if your iOS device supports eSIM, follow these steps. Note that these steps might differ slightly based on your device model. For the most accurate information, check with your device manufacturer, vendor, or primary carrier.
For iPhone:
Open the Settings app and select General.
Tap About.
Tap the Model Number until it switches to an AXXXX format.
Verify that your iPhone’s Model Number is not associated with a Chinese region. This information can be found [here](link to the source).
(phone images)
If your iPhone’s model number is not from mainland China, Hong Kong, or Macao, your device should be compatible with eSIM. Next, determine if your iPhone is carrier-locked or unlocked:
Open the Settings app and select General.
Tap About.
Scroll down to find the Carrier Lock section. Your iPhone is unlocked if it displays “No SIM restrictions.”
(phone images)
For iPad:
Open the Settings app and select General.
Tap About.
Tap the Model Number until it displays an AXXXX format.
Verify that your iPad’s Model Number is not from a Chinese region. Check this information [here](link to the source).
(phone images)
If your iPad’s model number is not associated with mainland China, Hong Kong, or Macao, your device should support eSIM, assuming it also supports cellular functionality.
If you’re uncertain about your device’s eSIM compatibility, consult with your device manufacturer, vendor, or primary carrier for confirmation.

How to Enable eSIM on an iPhone or iPad in Turkey
Certain iPhones and iPads purchased in Turkey may have eSIM disabled by default. If you bought and activated your device after June 23, 2020, your eSIM should be automatically activated during setup, so these steps won’t be necessary. If your eSIM isn’t enabled, please contact your mobile carrier for assistance.
The following steps will guide you through activating your eSIM on devices purchased before June 23, 2020. Be aware that this process requires a device reset, so make sure to back up your data first.
Back up your device and update it to the latest version of iOS or iPadOS.
Navigate to Settings > General > Transfer or Reset.
Select Erase All Content and Settings.
Enter your passcode or Apple ID password when prompted, and confirm that you want to erase your device.
Once the erase is complete, restore your iPhone or iPad from your backup.
After completing these steps, you can proceed to set up an eSIM on your iPhone or iPad.
Additionally, Turkish regulations require that the device’s IMEI be registered with the Central Equipment Identity Register (CEIR) of Turkey if you plan to use roaming data services for 91 days (accumulated) or more within a 120-day period. Please contact CEIR for further details.
If you have any questions or need further assistance, feel free to reach out to our support team.

When Is Identity Verification Required?
In some countries, it’s necessary to complete a Know Your Customer (KYC) procedure before you can activate a new telecommunications service. This procedure, called eKYC, uses electronic methods for verifying your identity and address without paperwork. You’ll need to upload a document for verification if this process is required.
If your eSIM purchase requires eKYC, you will be informed of this requirement before finalizing your purchase.

Should you have any questions or need further assistance, please feel free to reach out to our support team.
When Does My eSIM Data Package Expire?
The expiration of your eSIM data package is based on either the validity period or the amount of data used. Your eSIM data package is valid for the duration indicated, as long as you don’t consume all the data before that period ends. The validity period starts when the eSIM is activated.
Generally, eSIMs activate when they connect to a network supported at your destination. However, some eSIMs might activate immediately upon installation, regardless of where you are. For specific activation details, check Additional Information > Activation Policy before making your purchase.

When Can You Reuse the Same eSIM?
You can continue using your eSIM under these conditions:
Available Top-Up Packages: If the eSIM plan offers options for additional data packages, you can keep using it.
eSIM is Active: Ensure the eSIM remains installed on your device.
Supported Locations: The eSIM must be used in regions where it is supported.
When you acquire an eSIM, verify if it allows for top-ups. If you plan to use the eSIM again, avoid deleting it. Instead, deactivate it by turning off Cellular Data Plans while it’s not in use. You can add more data packages as long as they are available. For information on how to top up your eSIMLive, refer to “How can I top up an eSIM?”
Conversely, you should not use the same eSIM if:
No Top-Up Options Available: If additional data packages are not offered.
Unsupported Regions: If you intend to use the eSIM in a country where your current plan isn’t valid.
If no top-up options are provided, the eSIM is designed for one-time use only. You can remove it safely once the data is used up or expires. For guidance on removing an eSIM, check “Can I remove an eSIM from my device?”
When traveling to a new country, confirm that your eSIMLive supports that location. Here’s a quick reference:
Local eSIM: Valid for a single country.
Regional and Global eSIM: Covers multiple countries.

Do Any Apps or Websites Limit Access When Using an eSIM?
eSIMLive itself does not restrict access to websites or apps. Generally, you should be able to use the apps and websites you regularly access with eSIMLive. However, there are a few reasons why you might encounter access issues:
Proxy Settings: Some apps or websites may block or restrict access if they detect your connection is routed through a proxy server.
Security Protocols: Incompatibilities between the security protocols of certain apps or websites and the routing methods used by eSIMLive might lead to restricted access.
Location/Service Provider Restrictions: Apps or websites may limit functionality or block access if they identify you are using a service provider or location that is not permitted.
eSIMLive operates through a “roaming platform,” which could trigger restrictions from some apps or websites due to their security settings. This issue is not specific to eSIMLive and could affect various platforms.
If you encounter any issues accessing particular apps or websites with eSIMLive, it is advisable to contact the support team of those apps or websites for assistance.

Can I Receive Phone Calls on My Primary Number?
Yes, you can receive calls on your primary number if your device supports having both a SIM and an eSIM active at the same time. For iPhones, models with Dual SIM Dual Standby (DSDS) technology enable you to stay connected using both a physical SIM and an eSIM.
Here’s a breakdown for various iPhone models:
iPhone 13 Series (Pro Max, Pro, 13, and 13 mini): These models support Dual SIM functionality, allowing you to use either two active eSIMs or one nano-SIM and one eSIM simultaneously.
iPhone 12, 11, XS, XS Max, and XR: These models support Dual SIM with one nano-SIM and one eSIM, but you can only activate one eSIM at a time.
The specific capability to use multiple eSIMs or a combination of SIMs and eSIMs depends on your device. For detailed information, consult your device’s manufacturer.
Keep in mind that receiving calls while using data may incur data roaming charges, depending on your carrier provider.

Can I Make Phone Calls or Send SMS with My eSIM?
Most eSIM plans are data-only, meaning traditional phone calls and SMS text messaging are not included. You won’t be able to use your eSIM for regular voice calls or text messages. However, you can utilize internet-based apps for making calls and sending messages.
Before activating your eSIM, ensure you have set up any internet-based communication apps you plan to use.
To verify if your eSIM plan includes voice and SMS features, check the details before purchase by visiting BUY NOW > Additional Information > Plan Type
on the eSIMLive app.

on the eSIMLive website.

Can I Reinstall an eSIM?
Typically, once an eSIM is removed from your device, it cannot be reinstalled. We recommend against deleting any eSIM that you might want to use again.
If you remove an eSIM, you may encounter issues when trying to re-download it. In this situation, you would need to purchase and set up a new eSIM to connect to mobile networks in your destination.
Instead of removing an eSIM, it’s better to temporarily disable it when you’re not using it. Note that disabling an eSIM does not stop its validity period.
Why You Should Avoid Removing an eSIM You Still Want to Use
Unlike traditional SIM cards that can be easily swapped between devices, eSIM are linked to your device’s hardware and cannot be easily reinstalled or transferred.
If your eSIM expires or runs out of data, you can still add more data to it. To top up, go to My eSIMs > TOP UP and select the data package you wish to purchase.
Why Temporarily Disable Your eSIM
Temporarily disabling your eSIM helps to save data when you’re not using it and prevents unnecessary background data consumption. This is particularly useful when traveling or when you have a limited data plan.
To Temporarily Disable an eSIM:
On iOS Devices:
Go to Settings > Cellular > SIMs.
Select the relevant eSIMLive.
Turn off “Turn This Line On”.
On Android Devices:
Open Settings > SIM cards & mobile networks.
Choose Manage eSIM and select the eSIMLive you want to disable.
Tap “Disable” in the prompt.
Disabling an eSIMLive puts it in a dormant state but does not permanently deactivate it. You can reactivate it whenever needed.

How Can I Remove an eSIM from My iOS Device?
You can safely delete an eSIM from your iOS device in the following situations:
No Active Data Package: If your eSIM no longer has an active data package, it is safe to remove it. To verify if the data package is still valid, check your eSIM account via the eSIMLive app or website. If the package has expired or is no longer needed, you can proceed with removal.
No Longer Required: If you have an eSIM that you do not intend to use anymore, or if it was meant for one-time use and cannot be reloaded, you can delete it.
New eSIM for the Same Country/Region: When setting up a new eSIM for the same country or region, it’s often helpful to remove the old eSIM to prevent confusion. Starting fresh with a new eSIMLive ensures a more straightforward installation process.
How to Remove an eSIM from Your iOS Device:
Open Settings.
Tap on Cellular or Mobile Data.
Select the eSIMLive you wish to delete.
Tap on Remove Cellular Plan or Remove eSIM, based on the option available.

How to Recharge Your eSIM
Only eSIMs that support recharging can be topped up. Before purchasing, verify if your eSIM is rechargeable by checking the “Additional information” section.
Once you’ve purchased a rechargeable eSIM, follow these steps to add more data:
Sign in to your eSIMLive account.
Navigate to My eSIMs.
Select the eSIM you want to recharge and tap Top up.
Choose the top-up package you wish to apply.
If you don’t see a Top-up option or it’s not functional, this means that either the eSIM cannot be recharged or there may have been a network change. In such cases, you’ll need to purchase a new eSIM.
Note: If your top-up doesn’t activate right away, try these solutions:
Restart your phone.
Toggle airplane mode on and off to refresh the connection.
For any issues, reach out to support.
Can I Use Tethering (Personal Hotspot) with My eSIM?
Yes, you can use your personal hotspot with your eSIM, provided your device and network support it.
For iOS Devices:
Open Settings.
Go to Personal Hotspot.
Enable Allow Others to Join.
Check if an APN is required on your eSIM installation page. If so, you’ll need to manually set the APN for the hotspot as follows:
Go to Settings.
Navigate to Cellular or Mobile Data.
Select your eSIM under Cellular/Mobile Data Plans.
Tap Cellular/Mobile Data Network.
Enter the APN provided in the eSIM installation details in the Personal Hotspot APN field (make sure it is in lowercase and all one word).

Can I Install the Same eSIM on Multiple Devices?
eSIMs are designed for use on a single device only. They cannot be installed or reinstalled on multiple devices.
Once you activate an eSIM on a specific device, it is permanently linked to that device and cannot be transferred to another. This policy ensures that the eSIM remains securely associated with the designated device and user.
If you remove the eSIM from your device—for instance, if you upgrade to a new device or need to troubleshoot—it cannot be reinstalled on that device or any other. You would need to purchase a new eSIM to connect to a mobile network on a different device.
Please ensure you install the eSIM only on the device you plan to use for the entire validity period of the eSIM.
For further assistance, please contact our support team. We are here to help!
What Happens to Unused Data After the Validity Period?
Data on an eSIM is only valid within the specified period. Any remaining unused data will expire and cannot be used after the validity period ends.
If your eSIM is rechargeable, you can extend its use by adding a new data package. Simply select the TOP UP option on your eSIM to continue using the same eSIM with a refreshed data plan.

How Many eSIMLive eSIMs Can I Install?
Devices that support eSIMs usually allow for the installation of multiple eSIMs. The number of eSIMs you can have active at once varies depending on the device model:
Dual SIM Dual Active (DSDA) Devices: These devices can handle two active eSIMs simultaneously or a mix of a nano-SIM and an eSIM. Examples include the iPhone 13, Galaxy S24, Google Pixel 7, and newer models from iPhone, Galaxy, and Pixel series.
Dual SIM Dual Standby (DSDS) Devices: These models support one active eSIM at a time, paired with a nano-SIM. Examples include iPhone 12, iPhone 11, iPhone XS, iPhone XS Max, and iPhone XR.
Android Devices: Most Android phones allow only one active eSIM. However, Google Pixel 7 and later versions can support two eSIM profiles at once, depending on carrier support.
For iPhones, you can store between five and ten eSIM profiles. Samsung Galaxy, Google Pixel, Huawei, and other Android devices generally support between five and seven eSIMs. The exact number may differ based on the device model.
